The Wildland Shrub Symposium Series are developed by The Shrub Research Consortium (SRC), which was formed in 1983 and now has 27 institutional members. Contributed oral and poster presentations on all aspects of shrublands are encouraged. Symposium proceedings will be published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station.

Rachel ColemanThe Unlocking Your Child’s Potential Conference will Have special guest Rachel Coleman and Carol Stock Kranowitz. There will be a conference in the morning, then a learning-rich environment expo in the afternoon (that’s free to the public), and will culminate with a concert by Rachel Coleman that night.

The conference will be held in the Eccles Conference Center and the Taggart Student Center. Free parking will be available from 9am to 4pm . 700 North 850 East, Logan UT

A Coalition of organizations is coming together to create a unique conference for parents, care givers, educators and those who work with families by meeting challenges and creating a healthy, rich childhood.

Morning speakers and workshops will address barriers to learning including child development, allergies, sleep disturbance, literacy and learning, and nutrition and feeding.

Afternoon will include a large free expo in the Taggart Student Center International/Sunburst Lounge with activities for parents and children in literacy, stress management, physical health, safety, music, art and much more.

The day will conclude with an interactive show for adults and children learning signing with song.
